A Letter from the Owners.
Thank you for inquiring about KDR Fitness – a training centric fitness center. We realize you have many choices available when it comes to fitness and we’d like to thank you for allowing us to present some information concerning our business.
In the beginning…
Having been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years, we became increasingly frustrated at the poor standards and lack of good customer service in our industry. Frankly we were sick and tired of gyms where sales numbers were more important than member results, personal training standards were ridiculously poor and good training programs with qualified instruction were almost impossible to find – in the fitness industry these gyms are known as “Big Box Gyms”. Their model is cheap membership, expensive professional help, a judgment based atmosphere and very little results.
We knew there was a better model out there – the training centric model. A model built on the idea that membership should include all the tools you need for success – easy and affordable access to professional help with great member results in a welcoming “cheers with out the beers” atmosphere.
Through our industry contacts and constant education trips we eventually met Alwyn and Rachel Cosgrove, owners of Results Fitness in Santa Clarita, California. Thanks to our affiliation with Results Fitness and Results Fitness University we have taken their Training Centric Model and brought it to New Hampshire.
It’s all in the name…
During one of the trips out to Results Fitness in California, we came up with three ideas we wanted the gym to be associated with and known for:
Knowledge – we wanted to make sure that no other gym in the area provided the education to their members that KDR does. This idea also mirrors our belief that constant education is the only way to stay ahead of the competition.
Driven – we wanted to work with DRIVEN clientele. People that knew what they wanted for results. That’s why one of the very first questions we ask new members and continually ask current members are – “What are your goals?” This also has to do with how our knowledge affects our member’s results.
Results – OF COURSE we want to be known for getting results! When our members don’t get the results they want, we take that personal. We care about our members and their results and we believe that EVERYONE can achieve profound and amazing results!

Our culture is welcoming, our results are amazing and our coaches are top notch – but we want you to find that out on your own. Become a member with our Trial Membership and let us earn your business by showing you EXACTLY why we are community and industry leaders. There is no obligation to join after the trial.
If we are not up to your standards, if we are not the best, then don’t become a member. It’s that simple. We understand that making a decision to join a gym is difficult.
Will I like the other members? Will I really stick with it this time? Will the staff appreciate my business after the sale? These are fair questions that can only be answered by coming in to meet us for a FREE Strategy Session. If we figure out that were not the right gym for you, we will point you to a facility we feel could help you better.
It’s hard to hide bad service, poor staff or a lack of knowledge face-to-face. We are proud of what we do here and feel that if we are given a chance you will want to do business with us. We’ve been servicing clients in this community for over 10 years and are delighted to be a locally owned and operated business.
We also want you to be aware that we are one of the more expensive gyms in town. This is by choice. Poor service, poor staff and poor member results are all part of being a cheaply priced facility. To our way of doing business, you can’t be the best and the cheapest at the same time.
This also means that our gym is not for everyone in the community. If you are looking for results and you appreciate quality, then we are the gym for you. We really do feel we are the best at what we do and we’re worth it. Just ask our members or read their testimonials!
